SINSIN-GSA-project

SINSIN is a GSA project funded via H2020, to develop a Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) and satellite base station: MEOLUT, improving the localization in the Cospas-Sarsat MEOSAR system.

SINSIN is particularly effective in mountainous terrains, forests and jungles, where few satellites are in view., thus paving the way to an effective terrestrial Search and Rescue service based on SAR/Galileo.

The H2020 GSA SINSIN project follows the previous successful H2020 GSA SAT406M project.
